Deadly shootings at US army base
So far in the news, a US Army Major who also happens to be an Army psychiatrist goes postal in Texas MIL-base Ft. Hood, killing 12 people and injuring 31 as of 8 pm November 4, 2009.
Ft. Hood happens to be the largest base on US soil (whereas Ramstein, Germany is the largest US MIL-base in the world). Ft. Hood was also the scene for another massacre, where 23 people were killed in a Luby's diner. The shooter killed himself as well.
Here are the numbers in order of deadliest shooting attacks on US Soil:
- Virginia Tech Massacre, April 16, 2007: 32 dead + shooter = 33
- Ft. Hood Luby's Massacre, October 16, 1991: 23 dead + shooter = 24
- Ft. Hood Shootings, Nov. 5, 2009: 13 dead, shooter 'held in custody'.

US Marine Cho Seu-Huing was most notably known for the Virginia Tech Massacre which killed 32 people plus himself, although the media pulled back quickly from informing the public of his MARINE STATUS.
Now, Ft. Hood happens to be the next town over from Waco, home of the 1993 Branch Davidian vs. FBI standoff:
The Waco Siege which killed 54 adults, 21 children plus David Koresh, the prophet and head of the Branch Davidian cult. The siege lasted 51 days, between February 28 and APRIL 19. There were 76 deaths in total by fire.
The Waco Siege killings by the FBI infuriated a Green Beret Marine: Timothy McVeigh, the Oklahoma City Bomber, the American Terrorist.
The Oklahoma City Bombings TOOK PLACE ON APRIL 19th.
The bombing killed 168 people and was the deadliest act of terrorism within the United States prior to the September 11, 2001 attacks. He was convicted of 11 federal offenses, sentenced to death and executed on June 11, 2001. - Wikipedia
McVeigh was also alleged to be a part of the November 9 Bombing on the World Trade Center. Lots of doubles going on here ....
